The Marketing Data Analyst will work at the product marketing function to help inform our GTM strategy, and business decisions backed up with data from first-party (internal) or third-party (external) sources.
A successful candidate will be responsible for managing data and understanding how the information would be helpful for the decision-making process in marketing functions. Day-to-day jobs will include mining and analyzing data, building data dashboards, and ensuring the integrity, reliability, and accuracy of data needed for growth functions.
Key responsibilities
• Provides market insights by extracting and combining data from various data resources
• Creates and maintains a wide range of data-related trackers, dashboards, and file references
• Generate periodic reports needed by cross functions
• Aware of market trends and emerging products (basically, we want trends and market needs so we can create new products/solutions for these needs right away)
• Drive analyses to optimize core go-to-market processes that enable us to scale
• Help conduct customer, industry & competitive research, target segmentation, and list-building to support all marketing efforts
• Assist in analyzing all marketing data & analytics, conduct reporting, and assessments
Requirements
• Excellent English
• A bachelor or masters in a quantitative field or equivalent work experience
• 1-2 Years experience in business data analysis functions is preferable
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Solid documentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, using macros, and creating a pivot table
Good to have:
• Knowledge of marketing functions + various analytics tools
• Proficiency with Tableau and SQL
• Experience with Phyton will be a plus (optional)
