We are looking for an instructor to record web development courses for our 8k customers and 600k registered users. Your courses will be watched by students from all over the world, so a side-effect of this job is that you will get thousands of fans

PS: we often export our free courses to freeCodeCamp’s YouTube channel, meaning you will get massive exposure there as well.

You main job will be to record courses on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and ideally also on React and Node (if you know any of the two). You will work closely with our CEO Per Harald Borgen, and our Head of Learning Bob Ziroll.

Our ambition is to create the best web dev courses in the world. This is possible as Scrimba has a unique and interactive video technology that separates us from our competitors.

You will also regularly join our community events, like YouTube interviews, our podcast, fireside chats, community meetings, and more.

Job requirements

You are a self-driven coder who love creating courses and helping people learn to code. We need someone with an enthusiastic teaching style, as it is hard to retain the student’s motivation via online courses. The more personality and humor you can bring into your courses, the better.

We care more about your teaching skills than the length of your industry experience, or where you’ve studied, so there are no strict requirements on those ends.
