DingGo is an innovative online marketplace (based in Australia) in the smash repair industry that connects customers with reputable local repairers in the same way customers are used to booking a hotel online or ordering their takeaway food. The role will include the development of new products and features within our existing web stack working alongside other developers and contractors. The new employee will be personally trained by an Indonesian-born team member based in Australia. As a rapidly growing early-stage business you have the opportunity to shape the future direction of the role and even how the product evolves too. Critical Role Requirements:
• Back End Development – Writing and maintaining program code in Generic LAMP stack (Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP). More specifically CakePHP which is a PHP MVC Framework similar to Django. This includes researching, analyzing, discussing, designing, and then implementing the development requirements in the DingGo Platform.
• Bug Fixing – Testing, diagnosing, and correcting errors and faults in the DingGo Platform to ensure features or functions are working to specification.
• Knowledge of technologies – Staying on top of the latest technology and external systems in order to optimize any DingGo limitations in technology or processes
• Documentation – Creating and maintaining appropriate technical documentation for features, functions, and processes
• AWS Implementation – AWS Implementation with the following services Route 53 EC2 -> 2 instances one for staging and one for production. EFS -> 2 disks for backup and storage of all image files. RDS -> 2 databases . Version Control / Github
• Need to speak and understand English
