About Work:
As a Graphic Designer at Everside Health, you will join our in-house marketing team to help support our mission of enabling those within our care to live their healthiest lives. This role is a visual problem solver – enthusiastically meshing client direction, creative direction, and established standards into pieces that communicate clearly and drive health changes. To find success in this role, you should possess a desire to have a positive impact through your work, great communications skills, a love of design and the process, expert-level organization skills, unflappable optimism, and a great sense of fun. You should also hold in-depth experience and proven skill with the Adobe Creative Cloud Graphic Design suite, following a brand style guide, and working within a Creative or Marketing team. Ultimately, this role is an important part of the Everside Marketing support which impacts more than 575K lives in the U.S.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the Creative team and others to realize the brand vision.
  • Prepare final press- or screen-ready files based on supplied specifications.
  • Make various formats of supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production.
  • Utilize existing design templates to help build standardization across all marketing channels.
  • Provide image retouching, clipping paths, and additional image manipulation.
  • Package and preflight files for release to printers or media partners.
  • Create PDFs for print and client review.
  • Prepare images for online and mobile applications.
  • Archive and reference art for future projects.
  • Follow a production timeline to ensure tasks are completed on time.
  • Troubleshoot problems as they arise with both the creative team and the outside vendors.
Required Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or similar.
  • Strong portfolio of a wide range of mediums.
  • Proficiency with design software including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop. Working familiarity with other Creative Suite software such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, XD, etc.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Knowledge and experience with file prep for various print-production processes.
  • Knowledge and experience with prep for digital distribution.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with vendors, internal team members, and cross-functional teams
Desired Attributes
  • Great working knowledge of design software, specifically Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
  • Strong visual design skills with the ability to combine various design principles like color theory, typography, contrast, balance, repetition, and alignment.
  • Great communication skills and ability to work with leadership, vendors, internal team members, and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent ongoing status communication.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in design work
  • Impressive organizational skills – a person who names their layers, even if they are in a group.
