Who you are
You are a creative and passionate designer who understands how to effectively communicate a brand’s message through thoughtfully-designed marketing campaigns and initiatives. You have strong relationship-building skills and an ability to collaborate with a variety of people. You are organized and proactive, have excellent communication skills, and thrive in both a team setting and independently—working efficiently while taking initiative and navigating multiple projects and timelines. You value honesty and kindness.
In this role you will:
• Work alongside a dynamic group of designers and international marketing strategy teams
• Create visually engaging, innovative, and functional designs for a variety of channels including, but not limited to web, social, editorial, events, and marketing collateral
• Build email and landing pages for product campaigns and webinars
• Work with a variety of stakeholders to manage projects, meet deadlines and implement feedback
• Localize already-produced assets for the international marketing teams
• Maintain and enhance EBSCO’s visual brand identity system and UI pattern library
• Contribute to and maintain an organized repository of digital assets

• Online portfolio demonstrating design work
• 1-3 years relevant experience in visual communications, graphic design, and/or web design
• Adobe Creative Suite expertise, with specialization in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, Acrobat, PowerPoint
Nice to have:
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS
• Experience designing for international audiences
• Experience creating motion graphics
• Familiarity with design thinking and Agile methodologies
