About Work:
Little Passports, part of the BEGiN family, has newly created an opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join our growing team! This role will report to our Creative Director in our San Francisco office or can be remote based in select US locations*.

Reporting to our Creative Director, the Graphic Designer will work closely with our Creative and Email teams to drive, design, and evolve the look and feel for various click-worthy emails, from content and promotions to seasonal campaigns and automated renewal messages. This person will also manage the quality of work of any external partners and coordinate the sharing of any related digital resources and required assets.

They love being part of all aspects of the design process, from brainstorming, strategy, concept development to detailed design and implementation and learning from the results. You will:
• Design eye-catching email layouts that lead to higher levels of engagement and increased click-through rates, as well as sales growth where possible 
• Recommend opportunities to optimize email creative and campaigns based on results of executed emails (e.g., open rates, click-thru rates) and email marketing best practices
• Build email design templates, create and edit photo files, and help with intermittent presentations pertaining to the design team
• Concept and create designs for various digital marketing initiatives, including performance marketing, social media designs, blog, web, email, and much more
• Develop templates and design systems for email, blog, and social
• Be responsible in part for the extension of the company’s brand identity
• Research up-to-date and emerging technologies and developments in the design field and implement them when appropriate
• Be a part of occasional photoshoots in our studio or on location for use on social media or in other marketing materials
• Stay aware of industry trends and developments and recommend changes to ensure Little Passports are current and competitive
• Apply ingenuity, creativity, analytical, and organizational skills to identify and evaluate design problems and develop robust solutions
• Be comfortable pitching creative concepts to Marketing colleagues 
• Keep an organized archive/library where content be easily accessed (tagging, etc)
• Manage personal workflow and schedule
• Strong eye, attention to detail, organized, creative problem solver and can present creativity with key stakeholders using design, UX, and mockups to communicate inspiring brand experiences
Must Haves:
• Experience in email marketing (ecrm) design required 
• 5+ years of digital experience (E-commerce and/or Retail preferred)
• 4-6 years of design experience 
• A compelling portfolio demonstrating excellence in graphic design and a strong understanding and application of art direction and email design
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects)
• Experience with a wide range of creative applications and file formats (image, GIF, video, web)
• Basic photo retouching skills
• Strong sense of composition and layout, typography, and color
• Motion graphics experience a plus, though not required 
• Time management and organizational skills
• Previous experience working with a marketing team
• Experience creating performance marketing/paid media assets for social
• Expertise in cross-functional collaboration
• Exceptional typography skills and understanding for visual hierarchy
• A great sense of humor and appreciation of fun
Nice-to-Haves:
• Motion graphics experience a plus, though not required
