Job Profile Summary
Executes content strategy and planning to ensure relevant content is executed properly and on time. Responsible for bridging the gap between high-level campaign requirements from different regional marketing teams and breaking it into the content strategies and content types required for campaign success.
Develops content strategies to map content and nurture paths to the buying process to move the target audience to purchase. Analyzes content effectiveness and recommends optimization of campaigns.
Responsibilities
• Modified existing assets (i.e white papers, e-book, landing page, blog) to be leveraged across different scenarios (industries, use cases, and personas).
• Develops content strategies by aligning identifying content topics that map to buyer trigger events, objectives, needs, and concerns of the buyer.
• Recommends Content Types based on buyer consumption habits and preferences.
• Develops the editorial calendar and breaks it into a series of activities and a time-based project plan, known as a Production Calendar.
• Coordinates resources (relevant past content and subject matter experts) for Content Writer to ensure highly relevant content for a target audience.
• Monitors and reports adherence to the Production Schedule to ensure on-time delivery for campaign materials.
• Ensures that messaging and the topic are adequately addressed by content created by Content Writer.
• Monitors campaign performance and captures learnings to uncover which subjects and content types are consumed, generate leads, and pipeline Proactively provides strategic direction on new content requests.
• Manages review process through stakeholder feedback and design process.
• Drives feedback to writers on content produced.
• Works closely with Content Writers to ensure adherence to timelines.
• Works with product marketing and regional marketing teams to determine Campaign Assets and Topics.
• Seeks feedback from Content Editor on pieces produced.
• Establishes and maintains policies and best practices.
• Works on issues of diverse scope which requires an understanding of the business.
• Maintains a high content adoption rate by stakeholders.
Knowledge
• Proven written communication skills, ideally with published content in online or traditional media.
• Ability to create project plans, sequence activities logically, and manage deadlines.
• Deep knowledge of the areas they support.
• Ability to inspire others toward a common objective.
• Ability to gain cross-functional alignment to achieve goals.
• Ability to develop marketing and content strategies by aligning to the buyer persona and associated trigger events.

Education/Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field, including publishing, media/ advertising, or marketing is required.
• 7-10 years of experience plus 5 years of relevant marketing campaign management experience from corporate demand generation, product marketing, brand management, and/or advertising agency account management experience
